New Caregiver ONBOARDING INSTRUCTIONS AND downloads

OPC onboarding prerequisites are typically completed in the convenience of your own home on a Mac or Windows computer. If you do not have a computer you can obtain paper copies of the onboarding instructions and required documents from the OPC office, from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday:

Step 1. If you are access this page from computer, you can download the New OPC Caregiver Onboarding zip file below and decompress it on any Mac or Windows computer.

Follow the instructions in the read-me file to complete the required on-boarding prerequisites.
Don't forget to complete the Entry Level Training Quiz and initial and date the Entry Level Training row in the included Entry-Annual Training Log.

Step 2. Mail or deliver the signed and completed documents 1-15 and your Entry Level Training Quiz and Entry-Annual Training Log to OPC Human Resources at the address above. You can also add the files to a zip archive and attach them to an email addressed to: optimistprimecare2020@gmail.com

Once we receive and have reviewed your completed forms you will be scheduled for an onboarding appointment.

Step 3. When you have your onboarding appointment, complete the DSS required Mandated Reporter and Sexual Harassment training below. Print your certificates for your completed Elder Abuse Awareness and Sexual Harassment trainings.
Don' forget to bring your certificates and your to your onboarding appointment.

Step 4. At onboarding we will do a final review of all your documents.
We will complete your direct deposit, W4 and 401k elections and add you to Workforce.
You will receive Workforce application training and we will discuss your preferred schedule.
OPC will do our best to assign you clients that meet your availability, experience and special skills.

Below you will find the OPC Payroll Schedule and Timecard Due Dates.
This schedule also includes OPC paid holidays.

You will also find the DSS required Annual Training for calendar year 2026.
All staff are required by DSS to complete an Annual Traning once each calendar year.
